What is a System

Systems represent the collections of hardware and software that provide technology to your rooms.  A system inherits a standard set of files and processes from its template while also enabling the ability to track any custom elements or supported configuration options.

Core Elements of a System

Description – Important information about the system, how it was installed, and any relevant information that might help support and maintain the system.

File & Data Storage – A well-structured and organized repository for all of the documents pertaining to a system.  Supports both current release and archived files for historical continuity.

Configuration – Baseline configuration detailing the devices and required system behavior.

Processes – The set of processes and procedures that should be followed to ensure deployment consistency, proper operation, and ongoing room ready checks.

Compliance – The expected device settings and configurations that will be verified through an automated process of constant commissioning.
