Salesforce.com Delivers for PepperDash
On average, PepperDash sends out about 110 quotes per month. That’s five quotes every business day, and that’s a lot of quotes! We have added
Salesforce.com as a tool to track the journey of each of those quotes so that you get your pricing when you need it. Getting you what you need, when you need it, is just part of what we mean by PepperDash having a “partnership mentality”. But
Salesforce.com also helps us understand and track patterns in our sales cycles, which in turn helps us with business planning and resource management. It’s just part of our commitment to be the best programming partner in the business.

QuickArrow Software Adopted
Quick! Do you know who’s working on what, and what the status of your projects is at any given moment? We do. With QuickArrow software, our project management and calendaring processes have been significantly improved. As the number of projects grows -- along with the number of our employees -- we use QuickArrow to track the in’s and out’s of them all. We usually have more than 100 projects active at a time, so we’ve invested in software to make sure we are on top of them all. We work hard to make our processes more efficient so it doesn’t look like hard work at all.

PepperDash exhibits at InfoComm07 GIU Gallery
PepperDash again exhibited its outstanding design capabilities at InfoComm07 in the second annual Crestron CAIP Design Gallery. Often referred to as the GUI (graphical user interface) Gallery, it is an attractive grouping of kiosks located just outside the main show-floor entrance. Each kiosk has an interactive display created by a CAIP (Crestron Authorized Independent Programmer). The GUI Gallery does a great job of showcasing the graphical capabilities of Crestron's premier CAIP members. But it also shows the industry the impressive growth in importance of third-party programming companies, which have thrived in recent years.

PepperDash busy at InfoComm07
PepperDash has once again taken an active role at the huge InfoComm07 conference and trade show. The InfoComm conference is the one annual opportunity for everyone in the commercial AV industry to gather together and work on pressing industry issues. In addition to PepperDash being an exhibitor (see separate news item), our President/CEO, Howard Nunes, was there, participating in the Board of Governor's meeting, presiding over the Independent Programmers Council and Intellectual Property Rights Committee meetings, and attending a variety of other Council and Committee sessions as an active participant. In addition, PepperDash's Chris LaGarde once again taught a class in Photoshop. InfoComm07 was a smashing success as a trade show, but once again, thanks to the innumerable volunteers, many issues were explored and key decisions made while the industry was gathered at the conference.
