PepperDash President/CEO nominated new Chair

PepperDash President/CEO, Howard Nunes, has been nominated the Chair of InfoComm International's new Intellectual Property Rights Committee. Recognizing the need for better understanding of the rights among the creators and consumers of intellectual property in the world of audio/video, InfoComm International once again has demonstrated outstanding industry initiative and leadership by establishing an Intellectual Property Rights Committee. The IPRC will explore issues, establish policy and best practices, and create educational materials and tools to help its membership navigate the complex waters of Intellectual Property Rights.

PepperDash Opens Midtown Manhattan Office

August 1, 2006

PepperDash announced today that it had opened its new office in Manhattan. PepperDash's New York office is located on 47th Street between Broadway and 8th Ave., in the heart of Midtown, and will be locally managed by Sumanth Rayancha, Vice President of Technology.

"Having a Manhattan office obviously enables us to serve the needs of our New York City clients much more responsively" said Howard Nunes, President/CEO of PepperDash. "But with a base in Manhattan, we can also more readily support projects out to the Hamptons on Long Island, as well as northern New Jersey and southern Connecticut. While we will be able to supplement our New York office with Boston resources, we are very busy recruiting programmers for this location to ensure that we will be able to meet the programming needs of our rapidly growing list of New York and New Jersey clients."

PepperDash is based in Boston, with offices in Philadelphia and now New York. We provide "A Higher Level of Control"(TM) throughout the United States.

PepperDash Goes Gold!

PepperDash Technology Corp. announced today that it has attained Gold level status as a Certified Audio/Video Solutions Provider (CAVSP) with InfoComm International.

According to InfoComm International, "CAVSP is awarded to organizations who have demonstrated their commitment to professional excellence. Companies can achieve General, Silver or Gold CAVSP levels based on the proportion of their technical sales and customer service personnel who earn General or Specialized individual certification."

CAVSP companies also agree to comply with 10 Standards of Excellence that were developed in collaboration with industry experts to emphasize the best practices of AV businesses. The Standards of Excellence are a guidepost for AV companies and professionals who place the customer first and offer quality AV solutions.

"Industry certification is very important" said Howard Nunes, President/CEO of PepperDash, "it defines the people and companies who take their profession seriously. The InfoComm International CTS program, along with manufacturer-specific certifications, is a great way to make sure that all our employees have the same foundation of knowledge. Eighty percent of our sales, graphics and programming personnel are now CTS certified. Our goal is 100 percent."

Chris LaGarde Presents at InfoComm06

Our own Director of Creative Services is presenting at InfoComm06 this week on the topics of Photoshop Tools for the Interface Designer and Theories Behind Interface Designs That Work.
"Photoshop Tools" teaches anyone involved in the design and development of User Interfaces how to streamline the workflow, and create attractive interfaces that impress clients.

"Theories Behind Interface Designs That Work" focuses on the application of human factors to create balance between hardware complexity, system requirements, and user needs. PepperDash Provides Dashboard Digital Signage Content

PepperDash has helped advance the Dashboard project to its next stage at InfoComm06 by providing the digital signage content that will run in the InfoComm International Booth. Produced by PepperDash's Creative Services department, it is a good example of the depth of our graphic design capabilities. In addition to the signage content, PepperDash also provided a live example of one of its Dashboard compliant touch panel templates.

After many years of compliments from clients, partners and prospective hires, it was finally time to spruce up our web site and bring our message up to date. Sporting a bold new look, as well as updated content and new features, our new web site also contains an architecture that will enable us to take our partnership model to the next level, starting with file sharing capabilities and eventually integrating into our project management and financial systems, for a true partnership portal.

PepperDash Technology Corp. was the programming partner for the Silver Award winning home theater at the 2006 Luxury Living Awards today. Partnering with Home Entertainment Expo, PepperDash provided Crestron programming services for this outstanding home theater.  Congratulations to Home Entertainment Expo for taking another award in the Home Theater category this year. And congratulations to another PepperDash client, Audio Video Designs for winning Platinum and Gold.

Howard Nunes, President/CEO of PepperDash Technology Corp., was featured as a speaker in the session "Audiovisual Technology in Education", held at the picturesque Colby College in Waterville, ME.  The session was sponsored by Advance Technology, and featured speakers from other industry leading companies such as Crestron, Extron, Draper and VBrick.  Mr. Nunes was invited to present on control programming issues in the education market, as well as related InfoComm initiatives. The day-long session was attended by technology managers from educational institutions and government agencies from across New England.

PepperDash Presents at NSCA

Howard Nunes, President/CEO of PepperDash Technology Corp., was featured as a panel speaker in the session "Protecting Your Intellectual Property", at the 2006 NSCA Systems Integration Expo in Las Vegas. PepperDash Controls InfoComm Booth at FOSE

March 6, 2006

PepperDash programming and graphics design were featured in the InfoComm International AVolutions booth at federal technology show FOSE, at the Washington Convention Center this week.  Crestron Electronics donated the booth control system and a new TPMC-17 touch panel, which served as perfect showcase for a spectacular new commercial design, now being offered as a template by PepperDash.  The system included digital signage, MP3 audio, a Tandberg CODEC, and full presentation capabilities.  PepperDash personnel were on hand during the show to provide technical support and answer attendee questions.

Howard Nunes joins Board of Governors

Effective the beginning of this year, Howard Nunes, President/CEO of PepperDash Technology Corp., will assume a seat on the InfoComm International Board of Governors as the Chair of the Independent Programmers Council.  InfoComm International® is the international trade association of the professional audiovisual and information communications industries. Established in 1939, InfoComm's membership of over 3,600 companies and individuals include manufacturers, systems integrators, dealers and distributors, independent consultants, programmers, rental and staging companies, end-users and multimedia professionals from more than 70 countries.

PepperDash Contributes to Article

January/February 2006

PepperDash Technology Corp. contributed to an article entitled "Hot Trends: Video technology makes huge gains in quality, variety" in the January/February issue of Archi-Tech magazine.  The article was an overview of the role of video in high technology applications. The article was submitted by InfoComm International and also featured contributions from Tim Cape of Technitect, Mario Maltese of Audiovisual Resources, and Brian Patrick of The Sextant Group.
