Howard Nunes Elected Council Chair

InfoComm International announced that Howard Nunes, President/CEO of PepperDash Technology Corp., was elected Chair of the Independent Programmers Council for the upcoming two-year term.  Mr. Nunes was instrumental in the formation of the Independent Programmers Council in 2004.

PepperDash Presents at InfoComm05

PepperDash Technology Corp. made formal presentations as part of two panels at InfoComm05. Vice President David Huselid presented on the topic Working with Independent Programmers as a panelist representing the Independent Programmers Council, in an effort to help and institutional end-users address their concerns about -- and maximize the value of -- outsourcing their programming to professional programming companies.  PepperDash President Howard Nunes presented at Meet the Dashboard, the much-awaited release of the Dashboard for Control, a cross-disciplinary effort to define common reference points for control system interface design and layout.  As a member of the Dashboard Steering Committee, PepperDash contributed to the decision-making process behind the Dashboard project, and was a principal editor of the Dashboard Design Reference, a 24-page guide to key principals of successful user interface design.

PepperDash Wins a Luxury Living Award

PepperDash Technology Corp. was the programming partner for the Silver Award winning home theater at the 2005 Luxury Living Awards today. Partnering withHome Entertainment Expo, PepperDash provided Crestron programming services for the extensive home theater, as well as distributed audio, lighting and climate control integration.  Congratulations to Home Entertainment Expo for taking both the Platinum and Silver awards in the Home Theater category this year. And congratulations to another PepperDash client,Audio Video Designs for winning a Gold and a Silver in two other categories.

PepperDash Presents at NSCA

Howard Nunes, President/CEO of PepperDash Technology Corp., was featured as a panel speaker in the session "Digital Rights and Software Licenses: Who Owns the Code", at the 2005 NSCA Systems Integration Expo on March 11, 2005. Mr. Nunes presented the programmer's perspective and offered a simple solution to issues confronting dealer/ integrators and other consumers of control systems programming services: licensing. Using simple and clear licensing terms, programmers can provide their clients the source code without concern for their intellectual property rights, and their clients can have the use of source code that they need.  For more information, contact PepperDash.
