PepperDash Technology Corp. was featured in an article on intellectual property rights in the November issue of ProAV Magazine.  In Who Owns the Code, author Tom Zind delves into the challenges of balancing the intellectual property rights of code creators, i.e., programmers, and dealer/integrators or end-users who need control of the source to protect against problems with future system changes.  The PepperDash solution is to deliver the source code with a simple licensing agreement that provides rights to infinitely use the code, but only on that project.  For more information, contact PepperDash.

PepperDash Moves into new Office Space

To support its rapid growth, PepperDash Technology Corp. relocated its headquarters to new space in the Allston area of Boston.  Our new headquarters is adjacent to the Boston Technology Center, just moments off the Massachusetts Turnpike, ideally located for employee commuting and rapid deployment to project sites around New England.  Look for our sign as you pass on the Pike, and wave!

PepperDash Helps Form New ICIA Council

The new Independent Programmers Council of the International Communications Industry Association (ICIA) met for the first time today at Infocomm.  The meeting followed a unanimous vote by the ICIA Board of Governors to endorse the formation of the new council, which will represent the growing and increasingly important independent programming industry.  Howard Nunes of PepperDash and John Campanella of MDCI presented the Charter Proposal to the Board of Governors.  The Charter Proposal was drafted by PepperDash with the input of the other founding members of the new Council.  Howard Nunes is also a steering committee member of the Independent Programmers Council and liaison to the Independent Consultants in Audiovisual Technologies (ICAT) Council.

PepperDash Technology Corp. was featured in an article on residential security control in the May/June issue of The Connected Guide to the Digital Home (formerly Audio Video Interiors). By focusing on one of PepperDash’s residential clients, the article highlights the advantages of using control systems to enhance home security and provide higher levels of functionality and safety.  The article featured quotes from PepperDash executives Howard Nunes and Sumanth Rayancha, as well as PepperDash integrated security system graphics.

PepperDash Programs Design Home 2004

PepperDash is selected to provide the control system programming and graphic design for the exclusive Boston Magazine Design Home 2004.  The Design Home 2004 is a unique and interactive show home to benefit The Home for Little Wanderers through tour ticket sales and furniture auctions.  PepperDash was very pleased to be selected to work on this special project in conjunction with ImageTech Home Theater Systems
