Experienced AMX or Crestron Control Programmer
Network Engineer
Full Time – BostonYou know exactly how to maintain a smooth-running machine.
No, not the four-wheeled kind, but the ones that keep business like ours humming. You will assist our internal Information Technology (IT) team with network management and back-office application maintenance. When a project dictates it, you will also act as a consultant to our clients to help them with network issues. As part of this you will install specific A/V room management applications according to project demands.
Responsibilities:
- Network optimization and management.
- User account management.
- Back office application installation and management.
- Windows server administration.
- Active directory administration.
- Cisco ASA administration.
- Occasional user desktop and laptop support.
Required Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database administration.
- Familiarity with the following:
- Norton Anti-Virus Enterprise
- Active Directory
- Modern networking and firewalls
- VPN
- Symantec Backup Exec
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Virtualiziation.
- Familiarity with various WAN infrastructures (ie: metro-Ethernet, MPLS, etc.).
- Familiarity with VOIP systems (e.g., Avaya, Shoretel, Cisco).
- Familiarity with RoomView 7 and RMS platforms
